Been working on our Specialty Store

Hi, Been away for a while, touring around west and east coast of Canada and some of United States. We were away for 6 weeks and had a lovely time. The Rockies and Alaska are amazing. We liked Seattle and New York. After the west coast, the eastern side was a bit flat but none the less interesting. Visited many of the historic cities such as Quebec and Toronto and also saw Niagra Falls. Amazing!!! Of course we took the Kindle which came in especially useful when we were in Seattle. We were waiting at the airport for a delayed flight to Vancouver and found that we had read all of our books. As there was WiFi in the airport we were able to download 3 books in less than 60 seconds. How amazing is that? Just love the Kindle and what it can do. The battery lasted the whole time we were away as well. Hope all of you out there are enjoying your Kindle as much as we are. Now its back to work so please visit our website and view the new and hopefully improved Specialty Store/Web site - www.ebooksin60seconds.com All the best for now - Julie

Look Mum no glasses

How great is this!!!! I just discovered that I can use my kindle with NO GLASSES. Hey, I can change the font size...to suit my eye sight. Woohoo!!! Hallelujah! Aren't I vain? Don't I get so fed up with those specs on my face.....Always losing them....Such a bonus. I just love my little pink KINDLE. Hey and if my eyesight gets that bad, I can us the "Text to Speech" feature and have the book read to me by a very sexy male voice. Mmmmmm .... wonder what he looks like??? As good as he sounds???

Holidays over

Well have just got back from a short holiday in our motor home here in South Australia. Its our summer and new years eve was around 38 degrees C so a bit on the warm side. Saw the new year in with friends and as always had a very nice time.

Took my Kindle along as well so enjoyed some reading when not partying. Its great reading in the sunshine. My friend also had hers and told me she doesn't venture very far without it these days. She's in love with the ease of use and not having to lug heavy books around.

Now the holidays are nearly over must concentrate on getting back to doing things constructive such as building our website and blog.

Kindle e-reader and Books

This is my first Blog. My husband and I have just started our own website called "froststreasures.com" and its about all things for and to do with the Amazon Kindle and e-books.

I'm finding it quite interesting setting up a website and as I go I find more and more things to add to the site.

My Kindle, which I purchased recently, through our own shop, I just love. It's so easy to use anywhere, much better than carrying a book around, as I can carry several at once. I've just discovered that I can get free books and also games - should I not be in the mood for reading - and it can carry documents as well, let alone e-mail.

Next year we are travelling to Canada and USA for a holiday and guess what? I'm taking my Kindle.

As I'm new to this and the Kindle, I'd really like other opinions and comments, so please feel free.

Take care till next time
